WHAT IS A CSCS CARD?
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is the leading certification scheme within the UK construction industry. A CSCS card provides proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.
IS IT A LEGAL REQUIREMENT?
Whilst it isn’t a legal requirement to hold a CSCS card to access a construction site, most principal contractors and major house builders will require a valid CSCS card for any individual who wishes to access a construction site.
WHY DO WE NEED ONE?
Because we specialise in the construction industry, we take health and safety very seriously. That is why we hold a valid CSCS card so we are permitted onto any construction site to carry out work required by our clients.
From taking photographs and gathering case study information to interviewing site managers and capturing drone footage, we make sure our clients have peace of mind and a hassle-free marketing resource at their fingertips.
HOW DO YOU OBTAIN IT?
This is not a card you just purchase online. In order to gain a valid CSCS card, individuals must sit a variety of Health and Safety exams and pass them to obtain it. The card does expire every five years, so it is imperative that it is kept up to date, especially if you work within the construction industry.
OUR CSCS CARD
There are twelve different cards with various colours, each representing a different meaning which ranges from general labouring (green) to experienced site worker (red).
Our card is the yellow CSCS site visitors card which allows us onto construction sites but clarifies that we do not have any construction skills.
