On Wednesday, March 28th we will be attending the Leeds Trinity Business Networking Event to deliver one of our popular website workshops. We are really excited to get in front of a brand-new crowd and explain in detail how businesses can use organic (free) SEO to their advantage just by having a reliable, functional, mobile-friendly website.
So what is someone’s first impression of your business when viewing your business online? Out-of-date? Tired looking? Not working properly? Poor design? Takes forever to load? Doesn’t work on mobile devices as it should? If so, our website workshop is definitely a workshop you shouldn’t miss out on!
Our Web Design Director, Robert Pal, is going to be delivering a presentation and an interactive workshop at the Leeds Trinity Business Event to showcase how improving your website to not only Google’s standards, but visitor’s standards as well, which will help you with organic SEO. Robert will be breaking down the basics so that everyone can understand with no fancy jargon or technical slang involved.
Robert will also dissect a website live in front of the audience by using Google’s various tools to show what Google thinks of your website. He will explain what each recommendation means, the best way to solve it and why it is important to not ignore them.
SEO is a vital part of growing a business if people are searching for your services, but you aren’t showing in the search results, you’re essentially losing potential sales. However, it doesn’t always have to be paid SEO that gets your business and brand at the forefront of online search engines.
Your website is your platform; it acts just like a shop on the high street. When built right, it gives you a solid foundation to convert website visitors into paying customers.
In today’s market, top positions on search engines are very competitive and can cost your business thousands of Pounds to be a valid contender for the top spot. However, did you know that most people ignore paid advertisements on Google? A high percentage of genuine customers scroll straight past the ads and go straight to Google’s organic search results.
This is essentially where your website comes into play. How well is it built? Is it fast? Does it work on mobiles? Does it have relevant content pertaining to that person’s search? If so, then you have a very high chance of being in one of the top spots.
Keep in mind though, you could have the best website in the world, if it doesn’t have the relevant content on it, you won’t be shown and vice versa, you can have the best content in your industry but if your website loading speeds are too long or your website has a ton of coding errors, Google will start to push you down to the bottom of the results.
