As 2019 quickly draws to a close we can look back and reflect on some of our highlight moments of 2019.
The Creative Shed Team
Katie joined the team in August as our Sales and Marketing Assistant providing administration support and sales and marketing assistance to the team. Since starting Katie has already been involved with some local projects and working with key clients.
George joined the team in May on part-time work placement whilst he continues his studies on design and graphics in college. Some of George’s latest work includes the design of the Halloween Disco poster for the Sherburn in Elmet Gala Association.
What we have achieved in 2019
2019 has been a successful year working on projects with both existing and new clients on a national and local scale. We have also seen the launch of several websites this year including:
–Asset Wisdom (Online training for the asset management industry)
–Kirkgate Childcare (Local childcare provider)
–Bio-D (Hypoallergenic, vegan and environmentally friendly cleaning products)
–BTS Fabrications (High-quality facade and rainscreen products manufacturers)
The Creative Shed team have also attended the prestigious Northern eCommerce Awards on the 23rd October in Manchester after being shortlisted for three awards including, B2B eCommerce website of the year, B2C eCommerce website of the year and the Best online experience award. The awards aim to recognise and celebrate the best of online retailing and eCommerce across the North of England.
Local Charity
This year we have been involved with many local projects and helped many charitable organisations.
For the third year running, we have sponsored the Sherburn in Elmet Craft and Food Festival and helped with the organising of the event.
We were really pleased to hold a coffee morning in September to raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice where we raised £54.33 that will go directly to helping the charity.
The completion of the Sherburn Community Gymnastics Club website was another highlight for us. We wanted to show our appreciation of all the hard work that the Gymnastics Club do within the local community by creating a website for them.
Looking forward to 2020
2020 looks set to be another exciting year for the team and we look forward to lots of new things going on including, training courses, downloadable tools, educational videos and much more!
