Our work experience placements, 17-year old, Tom Bolland and Chloe Storton joined us last week. Whilst they were at Creative Shed Agency, they did more than just make the obligatory cups of teas and coffees. They worked on business and marketing plans, designs, blog writing and so much more.
Tom expressed he wanted to work in Marketing when he leaves Sixth Form but isn’t sure if he wants to carry out an NVQ or attend University to obtain a degree. Chloe is not sure what she wants to do yet but is definitely keen to attend University to earn a degree in her chosen subject once she decides.
Both students are Sixth Form students from our local school, Sherburn High School.
Whilst guiding them in the right direction, we let Chloe and Tom have free reign over their creativity and ideas while working on various projects. We even let them write about their week with us which will be uploaded to our blog over the next few weeks.
It wasn’t all fun and games during their week with us! Both Tom and Chloe had to learn that a vital part of marketing is research. They both carried out their own research and even helped us update some of our websites that we manage for our clients.
Work experience placements are vital to the next generation of young employees. Check out our previous blog post, to find out the benefits of having work experience students in your business.
Creative Shed Agency would like to thank Chloe and Tom for all of their work they helped us with during their work experience placement and wish them the very best for the future.
Creative Shed Agency have made a massive impact on our business and the amount of enquiries which we get which is also represented in our turnover.
They created a website, the content, advised us carefully and understood what we did. This is a really flexible, modern and easy to use website that meets our needs and surely would meet the needs of other businesses.
It suits my brand really well, and I have had loads of compliments about it. It's something that I can feel really proud of. One of the best things about my website is that Creative Shed didn't just design and develop it and then leave me to it. If I have any questions they are always on hand to help me.
We have more than doubled our membership numbers since the launch of our new website. We all feel that this is as a direct result of having our new website from Creative Shed Agency.
At the beginning of this year, we were delighted to hear that we had been shortlisted for Creative and Digital Business of the Year at the Selby District Business Awards. […]
